Suzuki's GSF1200 Bandit was a real hooligan when it was introduced in 1995 with a slightly detuned, oil-cooled GSX-R1100 superbike engine in a simple tubular-steel frame, bargain-bin suspension and brakes and no protection for the rider.
It was a real handful when given its head and became a cult bike.
Today's GSF1250 is an entirely different animal. Suzuki laid to rest the SAC-series engine, with its distinctive close-packed cooling fins, in 2006 after 21 years of production.
